How To Watch New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)?

NJPW is the dominant wrestling promotion in Japan. It was founded in 1972 and is based in Nakano, Tokyo.

NJPW is widely available online so anyone that wishes to expand their wrestling palate can easily do so.

Below we shall explore some of the ways to watch the New Japan Pro-Wrestling:

1. FITE

FITE is the official streamer of NJPW.

On FITE you can watch:

  • All live events of NJPW
  • Replays of all past events (they have an enormous library of ALL NJPW events)

Take a look at FITE here

2. YouTube

For those who are curious about the NJPW and are still on the fence about whether to get a subscription or not, some of its shows are quite readily available on YouTube.

They post a few matches on their official channel and also do a few live stream sessions every now and then.

3. NJPW World

Probably your best bet and the easiest way to get in on some of the Japanese wrestling action is on njpwworld.com where a monthly subscription goes for about $8 or so.

This show will stream every Friday at 10 pm ET.

4. AXS TV

For those in the USA, AXS TV also airs some shows but these are hardly ever live and are often split up and broadcast over a period of time.

However, this deal expired in December 2019 and it remains to be seen if it will ever be renewed again.

5. ROKU CHANNEL

Wrestling fans in the USA, UK, and Canada can also watch the NJPW on the Roku Channel and airs every Friday at 5 pm.

This also comes with English commentary which is a big plus for many fans.

The NJPW is definitely a brand that is looking to expand all over the world so I am sure that we will get to see it on more platforms in the coming months and years.
